RAD Dance Company offers its dancers an exclusive opportunity to work closely with our esteemed faculty, including the extraordinary Nadine Hassen, and an assortment of acclaimed guest choreographers. This unique interaction nurtures significant artistic development and outstanding performances. Our dancers also participate in a wide array of educational experiences, from engaging dance video and photo shoots to insightful master classes and enriching workshops.

Under Nadine Hassen's guidance, we're committed to imparting the authentic essence of dance while providing comprehensive training across all genres. This approach ensures our dancers not only hone their dance skills, but also grasp the spirit and true ethos of dance.

RAD Dance Company is well known for its stellar organization, age appropriate choreography and costuming and for developing dancers who may wish for a professional dance career, to dance in college, or to experience the ultimate TEAM experience - there is much focus, dedication, education and expertise poured into its members.
RAD Dance Company (RDC) is a springboard for talent, having received countless accolades, such as National and Regional Overall High Scores, Sportsmanship Awards, and Judges Choice Recognitions. Our dancers, seen as rising stars, have been awarded Scholarships, Dance Again Achievements, and Class Act Awards, among others, while even being named Performers of the Year.
Originally established in 1991, RAD Dance Company, under the mentorship of Owner and Artistic Director Nadine Hassen, will continue to guide, educate, expose, encourage and develop students who have a passion for dance while participating in a Team setting!
RAD Company Dancers have been Nationally ranked for an impressive 30 consecutive years, maintaining their esteemed position as Top Small Group National Champions for multiple years (2017-2018, 2021). A testament to their consistent commitment to excellence, the studio received recognition from the US Local Business Association as Best of Agoura Hills Dance Instruction for 15 consecutive years (2008-2022).

Furthermore, RAD Dance Company has received prestigious national recognitions as one of the Top 5 Studios in Los Angeles (2007 - 2008), and among the top 50 schools nationwide (2004-2005). This commendable program also earned the distinction of being acknowledged by former governor Gray Davis and California’s Senators for its significant contributions to the arts and human development.

Our dancers' talents have been showcased in a myriad of high-profile platforms, from “So You Think You Can Dance” to collaborations with renowned dance companies like Les Ballet de Montreal and Pilobolus Dance Company in partnership with Bravo television. They have also been featured in national educational dance videos produced by MusicWorks Unlimited (2022). Constant evolution is a key aspect of our program, as we continually stretch artistic, technical, and emotional boundaries to maintain our leading edge.

STARLET YOUTH PROGRAM

The Starlet Youth Program at RAD Dance Studio offers a unique program designed to educate, empower, and engage in social interactions! Each class, each performance, and each moment within Starlet Classes at RAD is designed to spark the imagination, aid in physical and social development, and help young dancers develop a passion for the Art of Dance!

Our Starlet Youth Program offers a variety of styles, movements, and dance disciplines. Learning is FUN at RAD Dance Studio! Dancers will be taught in both challenging and repetitive techniques. The classroom experience will include new steps and also provide a fundamental basis of learning by repetition of steps. The basis of all dance movement is rooted in the discipline of muscle memory and aid in future (and more advanced movement). For this reason, children enrolled in our Starlet Program get exposed to foundational elements for all genres which will help propel them as they grow through our program at RAD.
Our Starlet Youth Program offers a perfect blend of stimulation and imagination (props, creative movement, games) and age appropriate syllabus (technique, muscle memory, coordination development). We also use a variety of enjoyable, age appropriate music. Children learn by singing too! And, our Starlets will be singing, dancing, and developing their mind, body and spirit.
RAD Dance Studio celebrates major holidays with an array of festivities, including party favors and snacks, and special guest character appearances such as the Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and Frozen’s Princess Anna and Queen Elsa. At the end of the year, Starlets that have completed the year's program receive graduation trophies! Other exciting events include raffles, and three in-studio performances that help prepare the Starlets for their final year-end performance in Concert of Love.
