MORE THAN A DANCE STUDIO
RAD DANCE STUDIO is the loving home to a community of compassionate instructors who guide youth to learn, explore, and create through dance without judgement. Walking through our doors to a place where you will always be warmly welcomed.
UnpLUG FROM TECHNOLOGY
Less virtual, more real. It’s getting harder to help kids disconnect from technology and connect in real live experiences. RAD helps kids embody and express themselves without feeling the need to be someone they see online. They get to stretch, build up their strength, and new physical skills through dance.
Make Life-Long Friends
Less judgement, more encouragement. Sometimes the pressures or dynamics at school or home can prevent a kid from feeling understood or comfortable fully expressing themselves. RAD provides a safe-haven to foster authentic friendships with those who want to build you up, not tear you down.
Decompress the Mind
Less shallow, more mindful. Instead of mindlessly texting, scrolling, and “LOLing” online to relieve stress, we help youth connect with their creativity and friends to destress. Dance is great for the mind, body, and soul. We help youth process feelings and build self-esteem.

Less sitting, more moving! It’s never been easier to do more from the comfort and convenience of our homes. Because of this, we have to be more intentional about creating a life of movement! RAD inspires and guides your child to discover the fun in living a healthy lifestyle!

Dance lessons are life lessons. Our values are what drives our staff and studio. We stand for each of our students in embodying the RAD VALUES through their training in dance as individuals and groups.
SELF WORTH
We help build our students sense of pride and confidence to become the best versions of themselves. Creating a deep sense of inner self-worth gives students something no-one can ever take away from them, making them resilient during challenges and kind to themselves.
RESPECT
We teach mutual respect, reminding students how we treat others is how we are treated. In life you get what you give. So we encourage everyone to give each other positive experiences. If individuals have self-worth and mutual respect, healthier relationships are created.
EMPOWERMENT
We inspire, motivate, and support each other to find the magic that drives each of us. Here at RAD students always have a team to support them and raise them up. With each student fostering self-worth, mutual respect, and empowering each other, a healthier community is created.

Retter’s is more than a Dance Studio, it is home. I've trained with Darryl & Linda Retter since I moved to L.A. over 25 years ago. Now, my children are fortunate enough to call RAD their Dancing home! As far as I'm concerned, there's no better place for my children to learn to be great dancers, but, more importantly, great humans than under this amazing Faculty & Staff. Many people ask us why we drive to Agoura Hills when there are so many studios in the Valley...I always respond with .."There's no place like RAD!" The best training with the best people, that's why we call RAD our home! So excited for RAD's next chapter with Nadine & Ramsey Hassen...RAD truly is the place to be!

My daughters have been dancing at Retter's since they were 3, making it 9 years for us now! They are now members of the Nationally ranked Rhythm Machine Dance Company, and love every minute of it. I danced at Retter's for 10 years, and during that time the studio was my second home and the place where I discovered my passion and love for dance. The teachers and the training philosophy at RAD then built upon that love for dance, providing me with incredibly valuable lessons and skills. Without a doubt I attribute my determination, discipline, and creativity to my dance training, and still continue to realize the impact RAD had on me even years after graduating.
